Learning Bridge Early Education Center has an opening for a full-time teacher for children ages 2-5.
Hours are 9:30- 6:00 pm
Learning Bridge Early Education Center (formerly Child Care Center of Evanston) has been serving Evanston and the surrounding community for 75 years. We are NAEYC accredited, hold the GOLD Circle of Quality and received the Award of Excellence for Preschool Teaching and Learning, placing us within the top 6% of preschool centers in the state.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with children under the age of 5 and their families.
Knowledge of current theories and practices in the field of Early Childhood Education.
The ability to work in a multicultural, interdisciplinary environment.
To be able to work cooperatively with others in a team.
The ability to relate effectively with parents and children.
Patience, maturity, and a love of very young children is a must.
Must be computer literate and know Microsoft word, excel, Google docs and Teaching Strategies Gold.
This position requires flexibility, professionalism and a sense of humor.

Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred, or an Associates Degree in Early Childhood. A Bachelor’s degree or an Associates in another field with 36 credit hours of ECE is also accepted for this position. Ideal Candidate will have a Gateways ECE level 4 or 5 and familiarity with MyTeachingStrategies
