POSITION:DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS COLLABORATIVE (CCC)
REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer
SUPERVISES: CCC Director supervises event management, senior educational activities, recreational activities and health screenings internally at the Ovation Center, the satellite locations and throughout Will County.
Acts as a supervisor to Community Connection Collaborative staff in their ongoing provision of social service programs, education, health screenings, within the community and county wide.
Supervise and implement CCC data entry procedures in compliance with agency policy.
Ensures all Area Agency, grant and other programmatic reports/requests pertaining to CCC services are completed properly and submitted on time.
Manages and staffs internal and external CCC operations including programs in the various communities of the satellite offices.
Manages CCC department budget effectively within agency goals and objectives.
Works in cooperation with the CCU Director to provide education, information and assistance to remote office locations.
Works with Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer to maintain staff levels, implement annual and semi-annual performance reviews, maintain employment records, file incident reports and write performance improvement plans (PIP), as needed.
Represents Senior Services in a positive professional manner and maintains the credibility of the agency while working with individuals and other community agencies.
Ensures reports and time sheets for CCC are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Administers agency attendance policy as related to department staff.
Provides reports at monthly meetings of the Board of Directors.
Oversees the marketing of all CCC programs to increase the successful completion of the mission aligned goals.
Assists with volunteer recruitment, supports agency income development and other community education programs which may occur after hours.
Attends and initiates supervisory, in-service training, staff development and other meetings as determined by the Chief Operating Officer.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor Degree or higher in business, education, social work, sociology, psychology, gerontology, or health-related fields required. Work experience in the field of aging preferred.
Knowledge of community services and agencies
Ability to relate to others in a professional manner
Ability to summarize and analyze data from a variety of sources
Occasional Statewide travel required
Proficient computer and database management skills
Strong communication skills both internally and externally
Proven management, organizing and administrative experience
