This position manages grants, compliance, and contracts in support of the mission and services of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Government Compliance/Grants Responsibilities
Completes applications, monitors and maintains reporting compliance for all governmental funding initiatives.
Maintains compliance with, and manages report completion for, 330 grant funding, FTCA coverage, Office of Pharmacy Affairs compliance, and other state and federal programs.
Works with the leadership team to identify priorities for external funding and develops/maintains a funding plan for the organization.
Pursues funding opportunities and oversees/completes application processes.
Administers all grants in accordance with funder requirements and PrimeCare financial policies, in coordination with the Chief Executive Officer.
Develops and maintains a funder database.
Manages the annual calendar for compliance with grants and contracts.
Prepares and sends acknowledgements and thank you letters to all donors.
Monitors and administers development budget, work plans, and reports.
Prepares monthly grant summary information for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Must be able to move around the clinic site 50% of the time.
Constantly operates a computer, computer printer, copy machine, and telephone.
Occasionally positions self to maintain exertion of physical strength to move objects of 10 pounds from one level to another.
Must be able to transport from one site to another.
Must be able to cover other shifts as necessary.
Required Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure/Registration
Bachelor’s degree in fund development, business administration, public health, health care administration, or related field required.
2-4 years of work experience in grant-writing/development.
Prior experience in health care organizations and experience with federally qualified health centers strongly preferred.
