The Compliance Operations Coordinator is responsible for university admissions compliance, coordination and maintenance of student and faculty clinical compliance, and manages clinical readiness as it relates to compliance. The Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of clinical placement and ensures compliance with all site regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Compliance Operations Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining a database and file storage of all individual compliance records. All data must be prepared according to predetermined timelines and be available at any point for audit purposes.
The Compliance Operations Coordinator is also responsible for complex communication and problem solving to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of contacts inside and outside the University.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports all University departments with the day-to-day operations of compliance.
Collaborates with program directors across all programs and communicates to students, faculty, Admissions, Registrar, Academics, and Clinical Placement regarding compliance operations and follows through with standard policies and procedures.
Is familiar with contractual agreements and maintains a management system for communicating and collecting required compliance documents according to predetermined deadlines.
Sets internal due dates to meet compliance deadlines. Tracks and records progress and problem-solves challenges that may arise.
Proficiently collects, manages, and evaluates appropriate documentation related to compliance, including but not limited to health and physical screening, immunizations, CPR certifications and campus training programs, background and drug screening, fingerprinting and regulatory compliance.
Provides partners with all required compliance documentation.
Establishes and maintains relationships with University partners to ensure that all requirements are maintained.
Manages several Excel and web-based education and clinical software programs. This includes building the data structure, automatic report generation, training and trouble shooting.
Contributes to messaging regarding compliance via tools such as the university website, learning management system, and student and faculty orientations.
Participates in the selection of systems utilized to process university and agency compliance requirements.

Healthcare experience is preferred. An understanding of clinical nursing and allied health, strongly preferred.
High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
Ability to exercise discernment in interpreting and applying established policies and procedures.
Demonstrates proficiency in database management systems. Creates reports, organizes, monitors, and reports compliance data. Provides live status updates as requested.
Excels at organizing and managing high volume work streams with extreme attention to detail in a high-pressure environment. Can appropriately prioritize/re-prioritize multiple ongoing initiatives.
Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with individuals and groups and maintain effective working relationships.
Strong and effective communicator, orally and in writing with faculty, staff, students, and partners.
Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions.
