Innovative human services agency has a great position for an individual who raises the bar for themselves. We are looking for a person who invigorates, energizes, and helps us flourish and experience well-being. When you join the Trinity Team, you become a member of a culture of kindness-a community that truly cares. The Associate Director position alongside the department's Program Director assumes administrative responsibilities and accountability for the 2 sixteen person ICF/DD facility and 2 five to eight person CILAs within Trinity Services. Through your work helping people with disabilities and mental illness flourish and live full and abundant lives, you will meet lifelong friends and experience ample opportunities for growth.
The Associate Director of the ICF/DD's position is responsible for providing the leadership for the care, treatment, and safety for the people living in the homes or participating in the programs that he or she is responsible for. The assistant must cultivate highly developed relationships within their team and across the agency. The position ensures that all staff assigned to homes receive training, coaching and mentoring necessary for the staff to maximize the outcomes possible for the program participants.
In order to maximize the efficient operation of all homes, the associate will ensure that all sites will function and grow as a team. Goals and decisions regarding both the treatment of the individuals and the operation of the home are talked about and decided with the team. The associate creates the environment for members of the team to initiate action, make suggestions, and take an active role in planning for the homes.
The Associate's normal work day varies according to the requirement to visit all programs on all shifts, including weekends, on a periodic basis. Since Trinity operates programs seven days per week, 24 hours per day, the assistant must be available to solve problems as they occur. When unavailable, ensure that an effective on call system is in place to resolve problems when you are not available. The position is M-F with some evening and weekend responsibilities.
Requires a Master's degree in a social service or human service field. Interested candidates must have excellent organizational skills plus the ability to effectively establish priorities. A qualified candidate should have knowledge of applicable standards and regulations.
