The Program Coordinator works directly with high school principals/counselors and school liaisons to implement program registration for all eligible students. Once registered, the Program Coordinator measures registration numbers, the impact of the award program on enrolled students versus unenrolled students, tracks participants through high schools. The Program Coordinator takes a team-building approach to increase student and parent participation during quarterly/semester and year-end celebrations. The coordinator will focus primarily on A-Team High School students. Collectively work with Program Team with the JRJF programs, Vision for Families, STEAM, Read with Me! and primary focus A-Team.
Collaborate with high school principals and staff to determine criteria for program participation and understand each school’s vision for excellence and achievement
Implement registration procedures for all eligible students
Monitor progress of program implementation
Maintain detailed, organized file system entry for each student enrolled within the program
Identify and coordinate Work collectively with students colleges/universities upon graduation.
Prepare individual student earnings to ensure financial accuracy and submit a student withdrawal request to Finance for processing.
Ensure participating students meet established earnings criteria and verify criteria quarterly/semester via report cards and data is entered into system and evaluated.
Identify the winners and coordinate awards assembly for A-Team Awards

Work with school staff to ensure smooth integration of program activities
Assist team with the planning and execute quarterly and annual celebrations to create an environment of student/teacher/parent participation
Assist in recruiting program participants and volunteers
Increase student participation
Enhance Social Media interaction, FaceBook, Textedly
Provide ideas and implement ways to increase participation
Provide resources and tools to students
Local travel required
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent writing, editing, and computer skills in addition to strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must take initiative and drive projects forward with the ability to work independently and accurately. Must demonstrate attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent prioritization and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Strong planning, records management, and program evaluation experience is desired. Ability to communicate with youth and their families. Strong planning, records management and program evaluation experience desired. Experience in working with high school students and schools in the area of program recruitment.
Will consider College student who is available to work a part-time schedule.
