Provides day-to-day classroom activities to DD participants under the direction of the Life Skills Education Supervisor/ Lead Instructor. Keeps L.S.E. Supervisor informed of participant progress, and any incidents/situations that may have an adverse impact on participants or the program. Documents all relevant information and activities on a timely basis.
High school diploma or GED required.
1 year prior working experience with developmentally disabled persons.
Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
Valid driver’s license, and a driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier preferred.
Successful completion of the DHS Direct Support Person training.
