As part of the team, you will be responsible for the daily management of the AMA’s physical IT assets including: maintaining IT Fixed Asset system, the receipt, storage, and tracking of all Physical IT Assets, and reporting and reconciling to our Financial Systems. You will also lead the AMA’s yearly technology refreshes and annual equipment audits.
Track and report of IT Physical Assets
Maintain the IT Fixed Asset System of Record, recommending policies and processes to effectively track fixed assets across the AMA
Ensure all IT Capital Assets are asset tagged and recorded in IT Fixed Asset system
Maintain inventory: track devices by employee and report movement of assets to Finance as required
Reconciling to IT System of Record to Finance Fixed Asset System (general ledger), collaborating with Finance to resolve issues
Periodically preform audits on equipment to assure the Fixed Asset System is accurate
Communicate asset management policies
Inform business leaders across the AMA of IT Asset management policies and procedures
Escalates requests for exceptions as they arise, identifying appropriate accommodations for approval by IT leadership or assisting business units in complying with IT’s defined processes
Train users on Asset Management processes and IT Fixed Asset Systems
Responsible for overall Asset Management Process
Manage yearly AMA-wide technology refresh processes for PC and Mac assets, leading implementation by purchasing team and support center
Performs yearly audits of computing devices, presenting findings to IT leadership including proposing changes to policies and processes
Ensure all Asset Management process are documented and appropriate training is delivered
Receive IT equipment deliveries and assure they contain the proper documentation
May include other responsibilities as assigned.
BS or BA degree or related field, or equivalent in work experience is required
5+ years of Asset Management experience required; previous experience supporting Finance processes including reconciliation and internal audits preferred
Experience in defining and documenting IT Processes
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software such as Microsoft Excel and Windows applications required
Communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, including ability to work and communicate effectively with internal departments and all levels of management to affect positive working relationships
Proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently, and in a team environment
Capable of managing multiple assignments on a daily basis including addressing changes in priority of tasks as they arise
The capability to lift packages of 50 pounds
