The Chicago Center for Family Health's mission is to strengthen families in crises and promote family resilience. Founded in 1991, CCFH is one of the foremost institutes internationally for advanced, family-centered training for mental health, healthcare and social service professionals, as well as clinical services and community consultation.
The Administrative Coordinatorplays a vital role in keeping all operations running smoothly. This position is part-time (10-12 hours a week) with a flexible schedule, however you must be available to come into the office on Monday mornings.
Coordinate office operations and communication of programs, clinical services, faculty, trainees and office management issues. Includes answering phone, returning voicemails, emails and all inquiries.
Keep accurate financial bookkeeping via Quickbooks, and producing monthly financial reports.
Ensure monthly bills and invoices are paid on time.
Support co-directors in high-level operations, such as budgets and other special projects as needed.
Maintain and update the center's website and social media.
Event coordination of quarterly training workshops, including marketing via MailChimp, booking conference room, ordering refreshments and issuing continuing education credits for attendees.
Oversee the application process for the Families Illness Collaborative Healthcare Fellowship program.
Strong candidates will have:
Experience managing financial books via Quickbooks.
2 years of admin experience preferably in a nonprofit setting
Ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with Wordpress and basic HTML
