Blue Cap’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for children and adults with intellectual disabilities to be educated, have quality life experiences, be respected and be a valued member of their community.
Blue Cap has an opening for a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to advocate on behalf of adults receiving services and develop/ monitor the implementation of individual support plans.
Hours: 15-20 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends per the needs of the program.

BA/BS in social services or related field (as defined by DHS) plus one year experience working with people with intellectual disabilities
Ability to maintain State of IL QIDP Certification status
Maintain annual continuing educational units (CEU) qualifications
ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
proficiency in the use of computers and software applications
ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
valid driver's license and good driving record, ability to use personal vehicle
