Position Title: Bilingual Clinical Program Specialist

Position Purpose: To serve as the initial contact for children/adult survivors and their families in response to requests for services and program inquiries. In addition, to maintain a small member caseload providing crisis intervention and individual, family and group counseling to sexual abuse/assault survivors and to their non-offending parents/guardians and/or significant others.
Provide information and referrals to adults, children and families impacted by sexual abuse/assault
Respond to the needs of those requesting services through screening and providing crisis intervention as needed
Provide intake services related to documenting requests for counseling services, scheduling and completing in-person intake paperwork, and organizing all member data for new charts, while assisting Coordinators with case assignment
Provide short and long-term counseling to children, adolescents and adults with a history of sexual abuse/assault and their non-offending significant others
Facilitate support groups for sexual assault/abuse victims and/or their significant others
Provide telephone crisis intervention, information, and referrals, as needed
Provide advocacy for members in legal, medical, and social service systems when needed
Communicate with staff and members regarding program operations and provide program information to community stakeholders as needed
Collect member demographic and outcomes data and enter information into database systems
Collaborate with Clinical Program Therapists in Clinical team meetings and regularly participate in group consultations and clinical supervision meetings as required
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Art Therapy
Professional licensure preferred but not required: LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW
Minimum of one year of related work experience in social services; previous experience working with individuals affected directly and indirectly by trauma or sexual abuse/assault preferred
Skills in creativity, innovation and ease in engaging children, families and adults in crisis
Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organization, time management and attention to detail skills
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Collaborative ability to work as a member of a team
Availability to work some evenings
Ability to complete the ICASA 40-hour sexual assault crisis intervention training within 90 days of employment start date (if not completed within the prior two years)
Availability to complete 60 hours of child-specific sexual abuse/assault training within first year of employment (if not completed within the prior five years)
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and Outlook
