The Quality Coordinator designs, coordinates, implements and monitors the quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives of the organization. Reporting to the Medical Director, the Quality Coordinator works with the quality improvement committee to ensure the organization complies with care standards and key quality performance indicators. The Quality Coordinator also investigates complaints for the organization. Collaborates effectively with department directors, clinical staff, health information staff, and other key personnel within the medical center.
Registered Nurse, BSN, preferred
A minimum of 2 years of experience with Joint Commission, PCMH, and Meaningful Use standards for ambulatory care or hospital settings, as well as quality and risk management.
