The Women's Treatment Center provides women with multiple health issues including addiction to prescription medications and other illicit substances and their children with a continuum of care, recovery tools, and parenting skills to maintain a sober lifestyle as they rebuild their lives and futures and mend the bonds with their families. We are one of the few substance abuse programs in the nation that can accommodate children in residential treatment, making us particularly responsive to the needs of chemically dependent mothers.

We are recruiting a Counselor II for a Residential Unit for women.
The position will be responsible for: * Providing shift supervision of staff on Unit in absence of Program Director. * Providing chemical dependency counseling services to patients and their families/collaterals through assessment and design, implementation, and revision of treatment plan. * Developing service and continuing care plans; prioritizing problems and planning appropriate methods of addressing problems; incorporates appropriate use of community-based support groups.
* Planning, structuring, and organizing different types of group therapy sessions.
Be able to multitask, coordinate with referring agencies & recovery homes.

REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related field or the equivalent in work and/or life experience required. Master's degree preferred. * Licensure/Certification/Registration: CADC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC required. * Two years experience as a certified counselor in substance abuse programs required.
