Responsible for providing mental health services that are individualized, strength based, family focused, culturally and linguistically competent and community based. Provides and documents all services using agency protocols. Conducts comprehensive assessments and treatment plans. Determines and implements treatment strategies that are based in evidence-based practices and program standards. Reviews treatment plans and progress regularly. Provides timely crisis intervention services in consultation with supervisor. Coordinates and links participants with needed services. Develops progress reports for courts as assigned.
Masters degree from an accredited college or university in social services (psychology, counseling, social work, human services or related field).
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Licensed within the State of Illinois as LCSW, LCPC, LMFT preferred (or working toward receipt of professional licensure shortly after being employed).
Two years of experience in the mental health or child welfare field working with children and youth and their families.
Experience working with multi-ethnic populations preferred.
Valid IL driver’s license and insurance with use of a car to travel to near and surrounding communities.
Basic-Intermediate computer skills.
Experience in Medicaid compliance preferred.
