Erie Family Health Centers is looking for a focused and organized individual like you to join our EMR Optimization Team! The EMR/PM Support Analyst demonstrates understanding of the EHR and EDR applications and how they can be used/built to support our care delivery processes. The Analyst is an entry level implementation and support position for health applications.
Assists the Manager and Director with all facets of the maintenance of Centricity, Dentrix, Patient Portal, and associated technologies
Takes ownership of different areas as needed and as directed by the Manager, Electronic Health Records Services
Train and maintain and enhance of our GE Centricity EMR, GE Practice Management System, Dentrix, and other health information technologies
Provide technical expertise and ongoing training and support for staff
Collaborate in the implementation of different projects and tasks as needed and as directed by the Manager or Director of HIT
Minimum one years of Health Information Technology (HIT) experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years’ experience in HIT with an Associate’s degree
Highly qualified candidates will have EMR experience, and/or experience in quality improvement or information systems in a community health center
Experience working and supporting Health Systems/application would be most desirable
Excellent computer skills and intimate knowledge of the GE Centricity Electronic Medical Record software. Experience and skills in training and teaching experienced and inexperienced EMR users
Ability to visualize and understand complicated and diverse clinic workflows and how the EMR is integrated into all aspects of health care operations
Demonstrates adaptability, flexibility, approachability and a willingness to work with others in a highly collaborative team environment
