Ladder Up seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual to serve as a full-time Manager of Volunteer Engagement. This leadership position is responsible for innovating, leading, growing, and strengthening Ladder Up’s existing skills-based volunteer program through which Ladder Up recruits over 1,000 volunteers who provide more than 25,000 hours of service annually. The Volunteer Engagement Manager, in collaboration with the TAP Director, will align the volunteer engagement program with the organization’s strategic direction and cultivate strong relationships with corporate partners, community, faith-based, and nonprofit organizations, and professional associations. The manager will interact with all functional areas of the organization and be accountable for developing strategies, operational plans, metrics, and innovative initiatives to strengthen Ladder Up’s ability to recruit and engage volunteers to produce impact for clients.
This individual will have the primary responsibilities listed below and will provide additional support as needed.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong public speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a wide variety of people; intuitive, empathic communicator who can quickly build rapport, trust, and credibility
Prior work experience developing, managing, and evaluating volunteer recruitment and engagement initiatives
Skilled project manager who can identify needs, implement strategy, and juggle multiple responsibilities with success
Proven experience working cross-departmentally and building a sense of team
Previous work experience using critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data, recognize trends, and drive strategic recommendations
Significant experience training and coaching staff, interns and/or volunteers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel), Campaign Monitor, and CRM system preferred
Salesforce experience is required
Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience
