Assures that ICDI programs work toward achievement of the organization’s philosophy, mission, strategic plan, and its annual goals and objectives.
Works with other staff, assuming oversight for design, marketing, promotion, delivery, evaluation and quality of programs and services.
Meets with Program Directors on a regular basis.
Manages and reviews work of Program Directors, assuring consistency of programs with goals of ICDI.
With the administrative team, recommends yearly budget for ICDI programs and oversees and manages organization’s resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations.
Assures the organization and its mission, programs, and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.
Assists the Executive Director and Development Director in fundraising planning and implementation, as needed.
Assumes duties in absence of Executive Director.
Conducts annual reviews of staff members directly reporting to this position.
Other duties as assigned.
Master’s degree preferred
Bilingual (Spanish, French, Arabic, other)
Strong organizational skills
Program Development and Management experience
Cultural competencies and anti-bias experience
Knowledge of faiths including Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jewish and others
Pastoral care experience helpful
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Valid driver’s license and car

ICDI is an interfaith non-profit organization, serving people impacted by immigration detention. We offer open and non-judgmental spiritual care, support and accompaniment, regardless of faith background, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We provide accompaniment and care through jail visitation, court watch, deportation support, unaccompanied children's interfaith ministry, a post-detention accompaniment hotline and houses of hospitality. We provide all of our services free of charge.
