Blind Service Association is a small non-profit organization located in the loop of the city. We are seeking a highly energetic, creative, take charge individual as the Support Services/Communication Coordinator.
To be successful in this position you must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously as you oversee the operation of support services for our clients as well as take on responsibilities of the Communication Coordinator. This job requires excellent verbal and writing skills as well as the ability to produce materials with artistic content. You must be able to travel within the city and suburbs to promote our programs at fairs or other offsite locations. You will also assist with organization's special events. You must be able to use Microsoft Office Programs such as word, excel, publisher and power point. You must have a working knowledge of all social media sites. B.A./B.S preferred in human service field, Communications or in similar field. Experience preferred but will consider those who may be the right fit for this position.
