Children’s Home & Aid’s Adoption Support & Preservation Program works to stabilize adoption and guardianship placements for children and the families they join. We help them heal, grow, and develop in loving homes. The Clinical Supervisor provides direct supervision to Therapists in the Adoption Support & Preservation Program and provides therapy services to assigned families. The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Program Manager.
Clinical Supervisor responsibilities include:
Provide clinical supervision to therapists in the Adoption Support & Preservation Program.
Oversee client assignment, service delivery, and service documentation to ensure licensing regulations, performance standards, and contract requirements are met.
May carry a small caseload; provides home-based, trauma-focused therapy services to assigned families, including completing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide crisis consultation to staff after hours.
Facilitate clinical groups/trainings.
Engage in community outreach to promote services and ensure successful collaboration with community partners.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.
Illinois LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT required.
At least two years of experience providing clinical services to children and/or families required.
Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of the impact of trauma on individuals and families highly desirable.
Knowledge of managed care and Medicaid billing requirements preferred.
Familiarity with the Illinois Medicaid Comprehensive Assessment of Needs and Strengths (IM-CANS) a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, sound judgment, and ability to be self-directed and effectively manage time.
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required.
