Complete assessments and provide treatment to patients to help improve, regain, and develop the skills needed for day to day life. Treatment services are provided on-site at area nursing facilities and in client homes. Treatment is focused on community mobility and integration, cognitive processes, support with engagement in IADLs/ADLs, hygiene/self-care routines, sensory processing, safety with transfers, fall prevention and adaptive equipment to increase safety and independence.
Must have Master’s Degree and hold Illinois license in Occupational Therapy.
Preferred 1 year of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness
