Hephzibah Children’s Association is a social service agency in Oak Park, IL that has been helping children thrive and families flourish through innovative community-based programs for more than one hundred twenty years. The agency programs include two residential group homes for young children, foster care and intact family support programs, Head Start and after school and summer day care programs for elementary aged students.
We are seeking a full-time Manager of Clinical Services in the Residential Group Homes Program. The position provides clinical supervision and guidance to Group Home caseworkers, internal therapists, and interns. Assist the Director of Group Homes with the planning and implementation of clinical services for children, while serving as the agency compliance monitor for all Medicaid services in compliance with the Department of Children and Family Services, and state and federal guidelines.
Master’s Degree in Social Work; LCSW required.
Five year of post-master’s social work experience in the field of child welfare.
Supervisory experience required.
Familiarity, experience, and the ability to engage residential counselors in ARC implementation trauma informed practice desired.
Experience in a child welfare agency preferred.
Work on call rotation and be willing to work flexible hours.
Previous experience in managed Medicaid behavioral healthcare.
Valid IL driver’s license and good driving record.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to work independently, and ability to work effectively with staff, children, parents, clients, students, oversight agencies and the public.
Requires good judgment and decision-making skills, high ethical standards, and strong operational focus.
