A nationally recognized leader in both disability services and community development headquartered in Huntington, Indiana, Pathfinder Services, Inc. envisions a community in which all people are valued, accepted and have control over their own destinies. Our mission is to strengthen communities by enabling people facing physical, developmental or economic challenges to achieve independence, inclusion and stability. This opening was created by the retirement of a long-term, successful leader. We are seeking a dynamic, seasoned senior executive to lead our $20 million, 460-staff organization as we provide a full continuum of assistance to children and adults. Programs across five counties include: Community Integration; Residential/Supportive Living; Affordable Housing; Home Ownership Center; VITA Tax Services; Early Education; Training/Employment; Outsourced Manufacturing; Day Services; and Art Center.
Why is this a great opportunity?
Entrepreneurial culture, embracing new ways to engage our community

Established regional platform promoting homeownership. For example, we have assisted 200 Burmese families in purchasing homes.
In the midst of a three-year Person-Centered Thinking (PCT) initiative to support/develop staff
Recently opened inclusive community arts center
Well-established leader in our field with national visibility
Seasoned leadership team, dedicated staff and engaged board
This is an outward-facing role with heavy involvement in the Huntington community plus state and national associations.
