Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining the building systems in proper working condition and working on miscellaneous maintenance/improvement projects at NNHSC’s sites. Other task and responsibilities include but are not limited to working closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure NNHSC systems are on a maintenance plan and are functioning at optimal performance.
Will follow role assignments that are in alignment with the Patient Centered Medical Home Standards, and participate in all Patient Centered Medical Home efforts
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain/repair building equipment and systems which include: HVAC, generators, electrical, etc…
Ensure that building systems are running as efficiently as possible, maintaining energy efficiency.
Assists in operation and maintenance of computerized building management system, including documentation of preventative maintenance, HVAC system schedule and service logs, safety and other building systems.
Implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure that all building equipment and systems are operating at their optimal performance levels to ensure the maximum life of the equipment, work with Chief Operating Officer or delegate to address all operational issues and explore ways to improve operating efficiencies. Identify areas in need of repair and correct them in a timely manner.
Work closely with the Facility Manager to coordinate scheduling, and work of on-site contractors to ensure minimal disruptions to the clinical/business areas and their work. Review services provided by outside contractors to ensure the highest quality performance of the equipment at the assigned properties to maintain values of the properties. Follow up and monitor improvements.
Maintain blueprints, technical manuals, daily logs and facility information in a neat, cataloged and updated condition
Keep all mechanical spaces neat, orderly, and clean.
Respond to emergency calls, as needed after business hours.
Basic computer skills, ability to respond to emails in a timely manner.
Fire/Security Alarm System/Monitoring Service
HVAC System (Contract)
Assist Facility in coordination of contracting for building repairs, painting, etc. (three proposals are required).
Ensuring that a system is in place for reporting needed repairs for each facility.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as assigned and /or miscellaneous task designated by Management
Education: Graduate of certificate program for HVAC, and/or Program Management.
Minimum Experience: 5 - 7 years in facility management, system/equipment repair.
Other Requirements: Saturday hours, evening hours and/or may be required to work at a different site.
