Erie Family Health Centers is looking for a focused, responsible and strategic team player like you to join our Credentialing Team! The Credentialing Specialist will assist in managing the credentialing and re-credentialing of providers/sites.
Contact providers and assists them through the credentialing process, following up on missing documents to ensure completion of credentialing process
Prepare and submit credentialing applications and supporting documentation for the purpose of enrolling providers with commercial and federal payers
Follow up on the status of applications for providers and payers, tracking progress on all pending and completed work
Ensures appropriate registration of all providers, including Erie Sites in Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial insurance and credentialing with Managed Care companies, as necessary
Complete all necessary forms as required by Medicare, Medicaid, various hospitals, HMOs and the like for all Erie Providers
Minimum two years of credentialing experience preferred or 2 years of administrative experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Minimum of High School Diploma Required or equivalent; Associate Degree preferred
Medicare/Medicaid and Managed Care Payer Provider/Sites Enrollment knowledge
Ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines
Communicate effectively with all departments, clients and insurance contacts
