Hephzibah Children’s Association is a renowned social service agency in Oak Park, IL that has been helping children thrive and families flourish through innovative community-based programs for more than one hundred twenty years. The agency programs include two residential group homes for young children, foster care and intact family support programs, Head Start and after school and summer day care programs for elementary aged students.
The Summer Day Care Program is accepting applications for individuals to provide care and supervision of 5-11-year-old children. Positions are Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm.
The summer program runs from June 8th through August 14th on site at an Oak Park elementary school. Responsibilities include supervising play shops, arts and crafts, activities, sports, group games, and indoor and outdoor play. Staff accompany and supervise children at the swimming pool and on weekly field trips.
Minimum of 6 semester hours in education, recreation, social work, or related college courses
