This is a great job opportunity for a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) who recently passed the exam or has experience. How You'll Help Patients
Provide a safe and therapeutic environment to engage patients during their recovery.
Orientate patients to recovery program, resources, rules, and opportunities for community engagement and volunteer.
Offer patient support, encouragement, feedback on progress, assist with problem solving, as needed, and teach the tools needed for long-term recovery.
Collaborate and develop an individualized care plan consistent with multidisciplinary team’s recommendations.
Ability to develop, maintain, and nurture a confidential relationship in accordance to company’s policies and procedures.
Educate the patient and family/support system on the stages of recovery, potential roadblocks/obstacles, and ways to overcome challenges.
Seek and maintain community relationships and be knowledgeable of available resources i.e. sober housing, recovery conducive employment, various support groups, 12-step programs, health and social services, etc.
Complete and maintain accurate patient records or reports, history, progress, services and resources offered, and other pertinent documents.

What You'll Need
High School or GED diploma or official transcripts
Previous Experience in mental health field
Proof of active and current CPRS credential and CPE credits
Effective communication and written skills
