The Deamer Group is currently in search of a highly motivated, forward-thinking, detail-oriented Donor Services Associate. This is a full-time position within a faith-based organization in Midtown Atlanta which supports community outreach. Qualified candidates must submit a resume for consideration. Position Summary The Donor Services Associate (DSA) will work under the direction of the VP of Donor Services working closely with the Philanthropic and Finance teams, providing quality personalized customer service to those seeking to support the Federation. The Donor Services Associate will ensure that donor concerns are addressed taking a consultative professional approach.
A successful candidate will have previous Donor Services experience and Salesforce Success Pack preferred and have impeccable written and verbal communication skills. This individual must also be comfortable working in a religious organization regardless of personal faith. S/he should also display the highest ethical and professional judgment, behavior, and standards.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Customer/Donor Services role.
Bachelor’s degree or prior Nonprofit Experience required.
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills required .
Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Must be proficient in Excel and intermediate in Word.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive material and information.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.
Act as liaison answering inquiries and providing the proper feedback to the organization and potential donors, networking and following up as needed.
Answer phones respond to emails, and mail correspondence.
Accurately enter donor information and interactions into the appropriate database (CRM) system.
Process incoming pledges and payments.
Process pledge and payment acknowledgements and account statements, thank you birthday, tribute and condolence cards.
Research and resolve donor issues in a timely manner adhering to deadlines.
Maintain and provide appropriate notifications to senior staff.
Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
