Company History
For more than a century, the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago has pioneered innovative medical and behavioral health practices to serve some of Chicago’s most vulnerable populations. Since 1924, we have incorporated child development and behavioral health counseling into its primary care model, and since 1970, provided pediatric dentistry services to low-income children. Orthodontic care was introduced in 1991 and pediatric optometry in 1995. In 2015, we launched the Child-Centered Health and Advanced Therapies (CHAT) Center, for children at risk for developmental delays.
