The Village Chicago is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) membership organization using social engagement, an extensive services and referral network, lifelong learning, health and fitness, intergenerational relationships, work and purpose to make life for people over 50 enriched, engaging and supportive.
Company History
Originally founded in 2009 as Lincoln Park Village, The Village Chicago changed its name to more accurately reflect our geographic reach throughout the City of Chicago. We are also part of the Village-to-Village Network, an overarching national organization dedicated to creating, supporting, and connecting villages across the U.S. as a model for healthy and vibrant aging in community.
Our membership is currently comprised of approximately 420-440 individuals who pay annual dues giving them access to a dedicated office team, a social network, and a range of services and programming all focused on the various aspects of growing older.
