Is a Chicago-based nonprofit that removes barriers to employment by eliminating biases that disqualify candidates unnecessarily. Working with local and global companies, Skills brings opportunities to neighborhoods and municipalities throughout the Chicagoland area. To be eligible for Skills for Chicago services, candidates must reside in Illinois or Indiana, be authorized to work in the United States, and be either unemployed or underemployed.

Job Highlights
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain patient rooms, public areas, and treatment spaces to ensure a safe hospital environment
- Follow infection control protocols and hospital sanitation standards to protect patients, staff, and visitors
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance
- Support a safe and comfortable environment through attention to detail and consistent cleaning practices
- Collaborate with hospital staff to address cleaning needs and respond to special requests efficiently
Candidate Profile
- 1+ year of customer service experience required
- Ability to read, exchange information with patients and others, and perform basic arithmetic
- Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy
